Wolfram Alpha is a computational knowledge engine created by

Wolfram Research.WolframAlpha is a good researching tool that

anyone can use to research anything.  You can type in math

questions and it will show you how they are done step by step. 

Students could use WolframAlpha to good use during research

papers, they could get all the facts they want off of it.  Students

also use it as a way to get help at math when they are at home.

Snag film is a website where you can watch shows of any kind.

All the movies on the website are free to everyone, no sign up

or anything.   Most of the films on this website are documentaries.

As a teacher you could use this website to show students some

documentaries and then teach your lesson plan around them.

Another way you can incorporate this into your classroom is to

assign a student to watch a video at home and be prepared

to talk about it at school the next day.

Wiki answers allows you to ask any question you can come up with and somebody will answer it and for the

most part that somebody is knowledgeable in that subject.  One of the downsides of this is that they do not

answer this right away but will eventually get to it.  Anybody can go in and answer a question on it, but

wiki moderates the answers to make sure they are good answers.  A student if they have any questions

pertaining to things like grammar could go in and ask wiki how to do it correctly in their teachers preffered

method.  A student could also make a question about homework they do not fully understand but do not

need the answer right away.

Wiki  How is a step by step guide on how to do just about anything you need to get done.  You can go look

for how to cite anything like MLA and things like that.  You can also ask it how to make a boat and it will

pull up an instruction manual on how to do that.  Students could use wiki how on just about everything they

will ever do in school, when it comes to citing things.  You can also ask it how to work a math problem

and they would pull up step by step instructions on how you are to do it.

Precipitate is an online search history that you can pull up if you accidentally close a tab or something like

that.  The only problem with it is that it only supports Google Docs, Google Bookmarks, and Picassa Web

Albums.  If you ever have done homework on these websites and you accidentally close it out you can go

here and it will pull it back up for you.  A student is about to turn in his final essay into Google Docs and

they accidentally push close most would think it is gone forever but Precipitate can pull it back for you and

save your life.  Or even a teacher just got done with their lesson plans and they go to save it and they close

it, it will pull it right back up for them.

Diagrammr is a website where you can make your own diagrams like flow charts, bar graphs, and pie charts.

Diagrammr will help you make a proffesional looking diagram you can use in class.  When you use

diagrammr it does not ask you to sign in or anything so it is free to use and you can get right into using it.

Students could use diagrammr to make flow charts for a set of events that took place, for homework that

is for outside of class.  Teachers could also use it to show how something worked out through time.

Chartle is another website you can use to make diagrams such as charts, plots etc.  Charts can make you an

embed chart that you can put up onto a website and also one you can save to a picture.  Chartle comes with

a one minute introduction video on how to use it and use it well.  Students can easily makes graphs and

 charts to share with the class or turn in for homework.  Teachers could also make charts and graphs to

use as a teaching tool.

This website  lets you use microphone plugged into your computer to speak into it and it will write it down

and can translate it for you.  This would be helpful if you are trying to talk to somebody from another

country and you speak different languages. It could also be helpful if you

have a pen pal from another country.  Students could connect with

people from different parts of the world.  Teachers could also try

and talk to students that do not speak fully in english.

website into a good looking PDF.  A PDF is something that will print out a ton easier than a URL, they tend

to be hit and miss on their reliability.  A teacher can tell a student to print out a specific URL and tell them

how to make it to a PDF.

This website can let you download youtube videos and you can put them on just about anywhere you want.

You can put downloaded videos on your ipod as well as slide shows.  This could also be helpful when you

want to watch a video later and you do not have time to watch it then.  Teachers could use this in their slides.

Students can use this for slideshows to turn in also they cna use it for out of class activities.
